Independence or Dependence, which one have you chosen?

Why do you want to be Independent?  Well back in the day, I thought I wanted to be independent and I thought I was an Independent Woman.  Sadly mistaken...I discovered that I was not that Independent after all because I could not do it alone.  Have you found this out also?  Well, the reality is that we need to be dependent on the only one who can truly supply our needs.  That of course is Jesus Christ in our lives.  Have you given your life to Christ?  If not, then this is the answer that you have been looking for.  Please accept Him today and you will be saved...Say...I believe that Jesus is  Lord. He died on the cross for my sins and He arose again...Rom 8:9-13...That is all that you need to say then connect with a Bible Based Church and allow the Man or Woman of God to follow God's Word and lead you into a better understanding of who God is.  Now if you said yes, I am saved...Are you really living the life that God ordained for you to live?

During this Independence Weekend, ponder your Independence and find out whether you have allowed yourself to be dependent on someone or do you take all the credit.  Prayerfully you depend on someone and that person is Jesus!  Get right with Christ today and see how He will open the windows of Heaven and pour you out a Blessing which you will not have room enough to receive.  That is how awesome my God is.  That is the life that I live today.  More blessings on a daily basis.  Those blessings include life, health, strength, family and good friends.  Then there are other blessings which come out of my desires because the Lord answers my prayers.  Praise God for His goodness and the many blessings that He bestows upon your life...Read Deuteronomy 8:10 - 18.

Today we must be in a position of receiving.  But we must understand how to get there.  God wants that person who is empty.  Now you are probably saying I do not want to be empty, but remember emptiness must come before fullness.  Have you heard people refer to others as being so full of themselves.  Those are the kinds of people who no longer or never had God first in their lives.  Put God first today and see how He will change your life in ways you cannot even imagine.  When you empty yourself, you are letting God know that you need Him in your life and more of Him daily.  What a marvelous feeling when you hunger for more of Him. 

I know first hand how hungering for the Lord has changed my life and my way of thinking.  I have become empty on many occasions but I need to remain empty for the Lord.  Remember we have to be dependent on someone...why not make it Jesus!  The only need you should ever have is that  you need more of Him.  Then you will never need for anything because He is your Provider, your Jehovah Jireh.  Understand that your needs are already met if you are saved and living as God instructs.  Be obedient unto His Word and see how your needs will be met and you will also receive the desires of your heart...Philippians 4:19

Be Blessed and be a Blessing.  The more you give the more you will receive.  When you let go of what is in your hand, God will release what is in His hand.  I love you and you can do nothing about it!

Call Those Things That Are Not As Though They Are

Knowing God's Word is the key to Health, Victory, Liberty and Prosperity.  You must know His Word and what it means to activate Blessings.  Many scriptures are used to claim prosperity but the reality is that we use one sentence from the entire scripture therefore removing some pertinent information which gives the complete meaning of the scripture.  Once we have reached a certain level in our relationship with Christ, we are more adept in identifying the meaning as we interpret God's Word.  


Then your obedience comes into play.  Since you have been obedient to God's commandments, He will give you the desires of your heart.  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. (1John3:22)

You have the right to call those things that are not as though they are! (Rom 4:17)  You must visualize what you desire...see yourself healed, promoted, married, a great parent, good friend and on and on... Speak God's Words not the doctor's words or your teacher's words...or anyone's words.  His Word does not return void.  So speak what He says and claim it for yourself.  Live it...Expect it...Receive it!

Sacrificial Lamb

On this Good Friday 2011, as many know this day to be...I am eternally grateful.  My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for you and me!  I love Him so much!!!  What a life I have now because of His sacrifice.  And to think I did not know Him for a good portion of my life.  But what is amazing, is that in spite of my ignorance, He knew me and knew the day that I would accept Him in my life.  Oh, I can say so much about how different my life is since my covenant relationship with Christ developed.  I am at peace because of His Blood and His love.  There is nothing like the undying love I have for Him.  I did not understand how to love like this but He first loved me and that made it easier for me.  Thank you Lord for love, hope, direction and anticipation.  I am always amazed at what the next marvelous work will be which is performed in my life.  I am so filled with love and glory for the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.

If you have never experienced His love...ask Him to come into your life.  You will never be the same.  There will be many Good Friday services today.  Find one and attend.  Then be open to hear the awe-inspiring story of how my Lord sacrificed His life.   You should want to accept Him in your life to experience what He has in store for you.  Your life as you know it now will only rise to a higher level like you could only imagine.

My prayer is for all to be saved and delivered.  I love each of you with the love of the Lord!

PRAISE HIM!!!!

Praise Him!  That's all I want to do because of all He continues to do for me...He wakes me daily and breathes the breath of life into me, forgives me, leads and guides me, grants me favor, protects me and my family, shelters me, feeds me, provides for me, loves me...I can continue endlessly.  I love you Jesus!

What a wonderful feeling to know Him.  It is sometimes hard to explain especially if speaking to a non-Christian.  All I know is that He is all I need and His touch is all I want.  Oh, I love Him so much.  The covenant relationship I have with Him allows me to know Him like never before.  This allows me to hear from Him in a mighty way.  He directs my paths and keeps me in His loving embrace along the way.

My prayer is to represent Him like never before because that  is how I honor Him.  I heard a few years ago to work as if you are working for the Lord.  I have adapted this into my life and it has done me so much good.

Another thing that has helped me tremendously along my journey, is the power of GIVING!  It is better to be a Giver than a Taker.  You will see a miraculous turn around in your life.  I can testify that God has blessed me when I thought it was near impossible but because of my giving which shows my sacrifice in spite of the situation, the Blessings continue to flow.  We all have been there with a huge debt tormenting us.  But I put my trust in the Almighty who created me, who loves me and who said His word cannot return void.  Thus His word springs forth in my life daily.  I am continually reaping magnificent harvests over and over.  All I can do is Praise Him!  My love runs deep and He knows my heart for giving especially for the causes that benefit children.  He has opened a special place within me for the children.  What I realize daily is that they are our future.  If I can make a difference in the way the future may turn out by giving to those who will be the future...to God be the Glory!  I try to Bless as many people as possible just by going about my daily travels and activities.  Try to do the same and see what doors God will open for you.  It is about others and not about you all the time.  Show God that you can give on a regular basis and that it is a sincere act of faith as you present your gift and get ready for a Blessing from above.

May God shine upon your life continuously and may Open Heavens be your portion.  May that very thing that you have been praying for come to pass.  I love you with the love of the Lord and there is nothing you can do about it.  Be Blessed!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!

PRAISE THE LORD!  Happy New Year!  Wow, I just realized I have not written a post since 2009...I will try to do much better in 2011.

That comes to a very important word that we need to eliminate from our lives in 2011...SELFISH.  Unfortunately, many people are very selfish on a regular basis, intentionally and unintentionally.  Whatever the reason, it is time for it to be gone from our daily lives.  God wants us to live SELFLESS lives...That's what Jesus did as He died on the cross for our sins so that we could live a life with the Savior!  Oh, when I think of the goodness of the Lord and all He's done for me, my soul cries out, Hallelujah!  In life we take so many things for granted.  It is time to just stop and recognize God's goodness and be more appreciative of the Father.

In 2011, let's think about others first...that is being SELFLESS!  Now, that is a life which is honoring God for Who He is, because we are to be a representation of Him and He is Selfless.  Truly, this world would be such a better place if many would take on the Selfless cause.  Your life would be so rewarding and you would see how others respond to the Selfless person you have become...there would be more love shared.

Lord, please direct the paths of your people to become a Selfless society.  Allow us to grow to full potential because we need to shed the selfish tendencies.  Oh Lord, what a great place this would be surrounded by Your Glory!  I would hope that Christians strive for your approval.  This would cause them to become more Selfless and less selfish.

I look forward to shedding the selfishness of the past, why don't you join me!  I have already discussed the need for people to eliminate selfishness in 2011 so I felt a need to put it in writing.
